WEBINAR ON C-BLOCK™

Anchors glued to concrete, an alternative to traditional anchors

Topic

WEBINAR PRESENTING THE TECHNOLOGY CO-DEVELOPED BY EDF & COLDPAD

Many works in nuclear power plants involve the creation of anchor points to perform lifting operations, install life lines, and install electrical equipment. Traditional anchoring often leads to complexity when it is impossible to drill to preserve the integrity of the concrete or when the density of reinforcement is too high.

It is in this context that EDF DIPNN and COLD PAD, a young French industrial start-up, have joined forces to co-develop a bonded plate on concrete which has the advantage of being non-intrusive while presenting mechanical capacities similar to traditional anchors.
