March 2023 – Thailand, COLD PAD is proud to announce the successful offshore installation of two C-ELLULAR Hull reinforcements and of a LEAK CONTAINMENT KIT on the FPF-003 FPSO offshore Thailand. The full operation was performed between a SWBT (Steel Water Ballast Tank) and a COT (Crude Oil Tank) without implying production disruption.

February 2022 – Plymouth, United Kingdom - COLD PAD is proud to announce the successful completion of a combined trial with NOV, showcasing the strong synergy between COLD PAD’s non-intrusive bonded anchor points and NOV’s composite solutions for handrails. Together, we can provide an innovative solution for the modifications, life extensions, and structural maintenance of offshore platforms. The combined solution addresses safety concerns (such as no hot work) and corrosion-related challenges associated with severe marine environments.

October 2020 – Singapore, Asia – COLD PAD and ASIC Offshore & Marine Sdn Bhd are proud to announce the completion of the installation of ~100 non-intrusive mechanical fasteners on a new Floating Production Platform being converted in Singapore. This is a key milestone for Cold Pad technology towards the shipbuilding market by offering an “improved planning flexibility and lower total cost of ownership” according to the shipowner project manager.

April 2020 - Thanks to our strong local partnerships with both Enerbull and Nordic Degrees, we have secured our first 3 contracts in Nigeria in 2020, with 3 different clients, linked to life extension of floating platforms (FPSO). Our set of contracts include both the replacement of corroded pipe supports and the repair of leaking hatch covers !

A NEW PHASE FOR LIFE EXTENSION OF STATIC PRESSURE VESSELS
March 2020 - as part of a CITEPH open innovation program, TOTAL E&P RECHERCHE DEVELOPPEMENT, SAIPEM SA and COLD PAD are entering a new co-development phase for structural life extension works on static pressure equipment and large process piping. The development is focused on an innovative and non-intrusive repair technique, called RSS (Reinforced Strap System).

May 2018 – Cold Pad conducted a full-scale demo for the newly released product C-Claw™. The demo was carried out at the facilities of a world-leading FPSO operator.

C-CLAW™ FULL-SCALE DEMO IN ANGOLA
November 2018 – More than 20 Angolan FPSO specialists were welcomed at OAP facility in Viana - Angola. The objective was to exhibit the ergonomics and performance of C-Claw™, perform a live load test of >2,5T as well as get a real experience with a handrail fastened with C-Claw™.

October 2018 – After receiving LLoyd's Register AIP, ColdShield™ is now class-approved by the 4 main IACS classification societies! This is a significant recognition of Coldshield's benefits for the offshore industry.

WORLD PREMIERE FOR AN OFFSHORE DECK REPAIR
September 2018 – Cold Pad has successfully completed the first phase of an FPSO deck repair campaign offshore West Africa. Several ColdShield™ repairs have been installed on a large surface of the upper deck. Those repairs were mostly located midship in the most strained location of the FPSO.

FULL-SCALE C-CLAW™ DEMO IN BRAZIL
