Cold works hull repair

ColdShield™ is a permanent, unique, class-approved, structural reinforcement and repair solution for FPSO Hull girder strength. It addresses issues like corrosion plate thinning, including pitting.

Typical hull applications include corroded decks, side shells, bottom shells, frames, tank structure and offshore or floating buoys.

Although bonded composite reinforcements provide a real alternative to conventional « hot » structural repairs, they remain vulnerable to the humidity inherent to the offshore environment.

 

ColdShield™ is designed to remain impervious to marine conditions, especially during the two critical phases of installation and servicing. In addition, the prequalified installation procedure has been turned into an industrial process intended to be faithfully reproduced on site for reliable and repeatable performances.

C-ELLULAR

C-ELLULAR is a  structural reinforcement solution based on C-Claw technology. It is designed to restore hull structural strength and is suitable to tackle any kind of corrosion issues in marine environments.

Typical hull applications areas are structural members inside Crude oil tanks, seawater ballast tanks, side shell and deck.

 

C-ELLULAR is a class approved solution, compatible with rope access installation and requires a small crew for installation (POB : 2).
